Who are the people who live with us? And how can we work together to create a society in which diversity, tolerance and equality are a matter of course? Especially now, when these values are coming under pressure, we need a clear stance - against hatred, hate speech and extremism. And for an open, free and democratic society in which everyone is respected and heard. This collection was created in cooperation with Büchereizentrale Schleswig-Holstein as part of the “Colorful Society" theme room, which runs from March 3 to April 13. In this way, the libraries not only want to draw attention to our diverse society in Schleswig-Holstein, but also to honor all those who are committed to more freedom, openness and democracy.
